Bet types & in-play
How soon a payout arrives depends in part on the bet itself: a single settles at once, while a long accumulator waits for its last leg. This section looks at the types with settlement in mind.
Singles and accumulators come first, then each-way bets. The full-cover family has fixed counts, from the 4 bets of a Trixie through 11 for a Yankee and 57 for a Heinz to 247 for a Goliath. Bet builders, cash out, ante-post, Asian handicap and live streaming with in-play betting follow.
Cost is arithmetic: unit stake times number of bets. In-play betting is part of what bookmakers in Great Britain provide; cash out belongs to the operator’s own feature set and is not a statutory entitlement.
